The Dubois- Padmore-Nkrumah Memorial lecture series is an initiative which began in 010. the Lecture was launched by the then Acting Director of the Dubois Centre, Ms Bernice Deh-Kumah. The lecture series was named by the aforementioned (Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois, Mr George Padmore and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah) for their immense contributions and achievement on Pan Africanism.

Addressing the maiden edition of this all important event, Ms. Bernice Deh- Kumah announced that the lecture would be an annual series that would commemorate the death and celebrate the achievements of the political activists across the African Continent.

Since then the lecture has been held every year, with Various speakers delivering lectures on different topics in relation to Pan Africanism and how it relates to our lives
